Revolutionary Unmanned Surface Vehicle Launched
Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Force has unveiled a state-of-the-art uncrewed surface vehicle (USV) known as the “Alligator-9.” This innovative naval platform is designed to transform maritime operations with its ability to fire laser beams and launch swarms of drones. Remarkably versatile, the Alligator-9 can operate in three different configurations, adapting to a variety of naval combat scenarios.
Equipped with a range of capabilities, the Alligator-9 can deploy six to ten Alligator-5 torpedo drones aimed at enemy vessels. Alternatively, it can carry three to five Alligator-5 electronic warfare drones, tasked with vital operations such as reconnaissance, mine clearance, and navigation support.
