DZYNE Technologies Launches Dronebuster 4-EU
DZYNE Technologies has unveiled the Dronebuster 4-EU, a state-of-the-art variant of its popular handheld counter-drone system. This launch follows a lucrative multi-million dollar contract granted to the company by an undisclosed allied customer for its baseline Dronebuster model.
Tailored specifically for European needs, the Dronebuster 4-EU is engineered to enhance drone detection and neutralization capabilities. The system operates within European short-range device frequency bands, ensuring it meets regional specifications for versatile counter-drone operations.
Functionality and Features
The Dronebuster 4-EU boasts advanced capabilities to jam drones operating on EU-specific frequencies. Additionally, it includes an optional Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) attack mode, which has the potential to disrupt satellite-controlled drones that rely on signals from systems such as GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, or BeiDou.
Designed for a diverse range of operational contexts, this system can protect critical infrastructure, including power plants and transportation hubs. It plays a vital role in enhancing security at airports by preventing drones from disrupting aircraft operations.
Broader Security Applications
Beyond airport security, the Dronebuster 4-EU enhances maritime safety for both commercial vessels and naval operations. Moreover, it significantly bolsters border surveillance efforts, helping authorities detect and mitigate unauthorized drone activities.
Available in multiple configurations—fixed-site, mobile, and handheld—the Dronebuster 4-EU allows for flexible deployment strategies, whether as standalone units or within networked layered defenses.
Enhanced Operational Reach
When utilized in conjunction with its wearable Detect, Track, Identify, and Mitigate (DTIM) system, a single operator can detect drones at distances up to 7 kilometers (about 4.3 miles). This advanced integration enables operators to effectively engage targets from distances exceeding 1.5 kilometers (roughly 0.9 miles).
Such capabilities signify a substantial enhancement in the operational reach and efficacy of security personnel in counter-drone missions.
Proven Track Record
DZYNE Technologies’ counter-drone systems are not only innovative but have also been widely adopted and thoroughly tested in various field environments. To date, over 2,200 Dronebuster units have been sold worldwide, with more than 1,000 actively employed by the United States Armed Forces.
The company’s extensive portfolio, which includes the Sawtooth, ASP, and Dronebuster-FS systems, is currently operational in more than 50 countries, highlighting DZYNE’s commitment to providing robust security solutions against the evolving threat of unauthorized drones.
