Integris Composites Secures CV90 Ballistic Protection Contract
BAE Systems has selected Integris Composites to provide ballistic protection systems for the CV90 Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV). This collaboration will see Integris supplying these advanced systems to two undisclosed European nations. The partnership is designed to facilitate local production to meet specific local content regulations.
Henrik Jørstad, the sales director at Integris, emphasized the company’s commitment to local production by stating, “We always have a local content team ready who can facilitate the transfer of certain technologies to different locations.” This strategy aims to support BAE Systems in fulfilling its obligations to customers, ensuring a tailored approach to each market’s needs.

Features of the CV90 Infantry Fighting Vehicle
The CV90 Infantry Fighting Vehicle is designed with a focus on mobility, agility, and firepower, particularly under subarctic conditions. This tracked vehicle has the capacity to transport up to eight personnel and can reach a top speed of 43 miles per hour (70 kilometers per hour). Its robust design and versatile performance make it a preferred choice for various military operations.
To date, ten countries, including Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, and Finland, have adopted the CV90. Recently, Sweden and Denmark placed a significant order worth $2.5 billion with BAE Systems, which includes a total acquisition of 165 CV90s. This order highlights the trust and confidence that these nations place in the vehicle’s capabilities.
