One-Way Effector Drone: MBDA Unveils New Military Tech
MBDA has introduced an innovative one-way effector drone at the prestigious 2025 Paris Air Show. This cutting-edge unmanned aerial vehicle is designed to penetrate enemy defenses, drawing fire and revealing their positions for subsequent attacks. Its strategic role is particularly aimed at enhancing battlefield tactics by offering a direct method to target enemy installations.
Designed with an impressive payload, the drone features a warhead weighing 40 kilograms (88 pounds), deliberately engineered to provoke a response from opposing forces. The formidable size of the explosive is intended to compel enemies to engage it, thus exposing their defensive assets. Powered by a robust jet engine, the drone boasts a remarkable operational range of up to 500 kilometers (311 miles), enabling it to effectively reach deep into adversarial territory.
