New Barracks Unveiled at Ämari Air Base
Estonia has officially opened three new barracks at the Ämari Air Base, located in Harju County. This significant development aims to provide housing for active military personnel, covering a total area of 15,000 square meters (approximately 161,458 square feet). These modern facilities are set to accommodate troops from the army, navy, and air force who are stationed at or training within the base.
In addition to enhancing the living conditions for Estonian forces, the new barracks will also serve as temporary housing for allied forces deployed in Estonia. This initiative reflects Estonia’s commitment to strengthening military collaboration and readiness within the region.
