Israeli Airstrikes Target Iranian Nuclear Facilities

On Thursday, the Israeli military confirmed a series of airstrikes targeting an “inactive nuclear reactor” situated in Arak, Iran, along with a renewed assault on the Natanz nuclear facility. This operation was described in an official statement as crucial for maintaining regional security, asserting that the reactor’s core seal—an essential element in plutonium production—was specifically hit to thwart any future efforts to utilize the facility for nuclear weapon development.

The air operation reportedly involved around 40 Israeli Air Force jets, which executed strikes on numerous sites throughout the region. By targeting these key installations, Israel aims to disrupt what it perceives as a looming nuclear threat.
