Lithuania has officially announced a contract to acquire two cutting-edge multi-purpose attack boats from Finland’s Marine Alutech Oy Ab. The deal, valued at 22 million euros (approximately $24 million), was executed under a joint procurement initiative alongside Latvia. These advanced vessels are set to be integrated into the Lithuanian Navy and operated specifically by the Coastal Defense Battalion, enhancing maritime security along Lithuania’s extensive coastline.
