Rohde & Schwarz has introduced a groundbreaking modular multi-band jammer designed specifically for its Ardronis Effect counter-drone system. This innovative technology significantly enhances the system’s capabilities to disrupt communications over a broad spectrum of frequencies. Previously, users of the Ardronis Effect could only thwart drones that were manually controlled via radio frequencies, utilizing both reactive and non-reactive jamming modes.
With the integration of the new multi-band jammer, the Ardronis Effect has now taken a leap forward, enabling the disruption of multiple frequency bands at the same time. This includes the challenge posed by drones that utilize frequency hopping techniques or encrypted communications, marking a substantial advancement in counter-drone measures.
