Netanyahu Orders Strong Response to Rocket Attacks from Gaza

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered a decisive response following the launch of approximately ten rockets from the Gaza Strip on Sunday. According to his office, the Prime Minister is committed to ensuring Israel’s security and has instructed the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) to intensify operations against Hamas in response to the assaults.

During his flight to Washington, Netanyahu communicated with Defense Minister Israel Katz about the situation. The urgency of the matter is evident as they coordinated a strategy to address the ongoing threats posed by rocket fire originating from Gaza.

IDF Issues Evacuation Orders in Central Gaza

In light of the recent rocket attacks, the Israeli military has issued evacuation orders for residents of several areas in Deir el-Balah, central Gaza. The IDF is preparing to conduct strikes targeting locations identified as the source of the rocket fire.

Avichay Adraee, the military’s spokesperson for Arabic communications, emphasized the gravity of the situation in a statement on social media platform X. He warned residents to take immediate action, describing the evacuation call as a final and urgent warning before an impending attack. Adraee urged all residents in the Deir el-Balah area to move south to designated shelters for their safety.
