De Haas Shipyards Wins Major Contract
De Haas Shipyards has officially secured a significant contract to construct 13 new vessels for the Netherlands Armed Forces, aimed at replacing the aging Fast Raiding Interception and Special Forces Craft (FRISC). This fresh batch of boats will introduce a range of advancements, including enhanced weapons compatibility, cutting-edge communication systems, and improved sensor technology, setting a new standard for operational capacity.
The new vessels are also designed with stealth in mind, boasting features that will make them less detectable to enemy tracking systems. Incorporating modern hull designs and innovative seating arrangements, the new FRISC replacements will alleviate physical strain on personnel who operate in challenging and extreme environments.
