Zelensky and Trump Discuss Urgent Air Defense Needs
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed on Wednesday that he engaged in discussions about the acquisition of U.S. air-defense systems with former President Donald Trump during their recent meeting at the NATO summit in The Hague. Zelensky also noted that the discussions had extended to the potential for joint production of drones. He characterized his 50-minute interaction with Trump as both “good” and “substantive,” highlighting a positive tone amidst the serious nature of their negotiations.
